Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Responsibilities for this Position

GDMS has an immediate opening for a Supply Chain Systems Analyst tp join our Taunton, MA team.  Candidates will also be considered for our Scottsdale, AZ. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation’s fundamental defense services.  GDMS employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.



  • Partner with Supply Chain and Information Technology (IT) staff to refine, tune and promote adoption of Supply Chain systems
  • Analyzes, optimizes and automates business processes across the Supply Chain organization
  • Works diligently with IT organization to develop, test and implement software tools and platforms including tool documentation
  • Contributes significantly within diverse teams across multiple projects or small initiatives to successfully achieve deliverables
  • Leads the development of solutions to a variety of challenging problems of broader scope and complexity using established procedures
  • Establishes and executes change in the business and reacts to changing business needs
  • Develops plans to mitigate exposure to overcoming fundamental change obstacles
  • Supports day-to-day Supply Chain systems issues and solutions
  • Develops concise reporting to management / peers


  • Experience in software applications and supply chain management processes as well as working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems
  • Extensive working knowledge of supply chain applications
  • Firm understanding of purchasing end user expectations and requirements
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities, projects, and tasks
  • Self-motivated with a strong capacity for finding creative solutions    
  • Works well with peers to collaboratively find solutions
  • Articulates the steps, benefits, costs and outcomes of proposed solutions using sound judgment to choose among alternatives
  • Utilizes skill set to help less experienced team members adapt
  • Skilled at developing and integrating ground breaking ideas
  • Integrates complex strategies with mitigation plans
  • Ability to act with little daily instruction on tasks of diverse scope
  • Exhibits solid knowledge on how IT solutions are constructed
  • Advanced experience creating use cases, acceptance criteria and test plans/cases
  • Solid, proven experience in a procurement environment
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Limited business travel may be required 

Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Interim Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
