Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business equivalent strongly preferred.

 

Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

 

 

Responsibilities for this Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Sales Support Associate. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.

 

  • Plans and implements projects that support the sales organization.
  • Assists sales organization in providing technical and administrative product information.
  • Works with market research team to ensure market analysis data is used for quoting customer prices.
  • Prepares the distribution of accounts to the Sales Representatives and updates the automated tracking system, such as CRM.
  • Develops and maintains current knowledge of markets, products, and buying practices required to effectively compete in the assigned territory
  • Coordinates with Sales Representatives to provide sales documentation and satisfy customer requirements.
  • Works with customers to fulfill order requests in a timely manner.
  • Provides customer support regarding order delivery and quality management.
  • Maintain broad knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, and procedures
  • Clarify customer requirements; probe for understanding, use tools and resources to appropriately provide resolution to the customer
  • Participate in activities designed to improve customer satisfaction and sales performance
  • Answer billing questions by talking through components of customer accounts
