Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.


Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is REQUIRED at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a  Missile Defense Algorithm Integration Engineer. This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.


Integration of algorithms into the C2BMC Benchmark framework in support of S8.2-5 deliveries to the customer. Responsibilities including integration, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Familiarity with JAVA and MATLAB is required. Candidate should understand complex systems. Candidate should understand and be familiar with software integration processes, especially automation of integration, build, and delivery processes.At least 3 years of software integration experience is required. Experience with MATLAB and JAVA or C++ is required. Candidates must have experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions. Experience in working in the missile defense domain is highly desired. Experience working with any/multiple of the following types of algorithms is highly desired: track processing; track reporting; sensor resource management; discrimination; battle management.

Bachelor's Degree in Math, Science, and Engineering or related discipline. MS highly desirable.
