  • Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.

    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for the MK6 Guidance Program.  The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation’s fundamental defense services.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.


    Key Responsibilities:


    • Represent Manufacturing (Repair Operations) within the Integrated Support Facility and collaborate cross-functionally with other Team members
    • Act as an advocate for the Repair Operations Team and assist with achieving overall goals
    • Ensure alignment of the Repair Operations Team on Manufacturing timelines and deliverables
    • Manage delivery schedule from a Repair Operations perspective
    • Ensure Manufacturing site management are informed of the Operations team goals, deliverables, timelines and issues/action plans
    • Implement Repair Operations strategy for the program
    • Actively participate in, and facilitate decision making
    • Represent and Participate in Internal Review Board and Material Review Board to support schedule
    • Coordinate and Respond to formal Root Cause Corrective Actions
    • Generate and maintain budgets for Contractual requirements
    • Maintain cross-training plan for Repair Operations
    • Perform  and organize troubleshooting efforts in relation to Repair Operations
    • Generate plans to implement Engineering Change Releases (ECR) through the Repair Operations group
    • Generate and respond to Customer Problem Reports (PRs)
    • Implement and foster continuous improvements within the Repair Operations team
    • Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards
    • Will perform other reasonably related tasks within the Company as required Management
