Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Department of Defense secret security clearance is not required at time of hire but must be obtainable within 24 months of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Advanced Electronic Engineering (EE) Technician to join our Engineering team. The position provides an opportunity to develop and advance the cutting-edge equipment and systems that support some of our nation’s fundamental defense services. GDMS employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to build and further advance GDMS technologies. Advanced EE Technicians test, analyze and repair GDMS electronics, including circuit cards, mission computers, and other technologies, to support Engineering product development teams. This individual is also responsible for the planning, build out, calibration, installation and maintenance of the engineering organization’s lab equipment, components, devices and systems. Advanced EE Technicians may also be asked to develop test specifications and procedures and are sometimes tasked with report preparation and documentation of technical issues and are expected to provide clear and precise technical documentation.
