  • Basic Qualifications

    Required Experience:

    • Knowledge:
      • 3+ years of Python (critical)
      • 3+ years of software developer experience with applicable Java knowledge
      • 3+ years of experience using the Linux operating system
    • Process/Methodology:
      • 3+ years of applying Use-case and/or User-story requirements gathering and analysis techniques (e.g., deriving, developing requirements from customer interaction and needs) (critical)
      • 3+ years of applying architectural analysis and design techniques (e.g. translating functional requirements into technical requirements using ULM and 2+1 architectural techniques)
      • 3+ years of practical experience with AGILE software development methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, XP)
    • Technology:
      • 3+ years of experience with container-based architectures (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) (critical)
      • 3+ years of experience with Eclipse, Maven, Git, Bamboo (or Hudson)

    Education Requirements:

    Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field is required (or equivalent experience), plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Agile experience preferred.

    Clearance Requirements:
    Department of Defense TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    Key Responsibilities:

    The Software Engineer (HPC-IE-DT) will join a growing organization dedicated to the development and delivery of enabling services, and advanced analytics to support predictive capabilities for HPC platforms across the IC community. The organization is looking for a knowledgeable, dynamic, high-energy software engineer to join a team working on cutting edge analytics.


    The individual chosen for this position will work together on a moderate-sized agile team. As a member of the team, the individual will develop software products that serve a range of customers.

    • Data parsing/transforming techniques, to include JSON, XML, CSV formats
    • REST services
