  • Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.
    J-STD_001, 002, IPC 610, MIL-STD-883, or NASA std's certification may be required within 30 days of hire


    Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Quality Supervisor.  This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.




    • Compares defects against standards and recommend disposition
    • Participates in team meetings
    • Collects, organizes and analyzes project data
    • Verifies corrective action implementation
    • Verifies implementation of rework
    • Performs audits
    • Generates and/or verifies traceability information
    • Verifies compliance to defined processing
    • Authors QA processing documentation
    • Determines and manages handling of returned products
    • Determines/evaluates root cause and corrective action
    • Participates as a member of a concurrent engineering team and participates in concurrent engineering development
    • Mentors other personnel
    • Generates PQA digest and material quality requirements
    • Reviews drawings for conformance to requirements
    • Initiates corrective action plans
    • Leads teams, continuous improvement
    • Interfacing with coworkers, DCMA, and customers
    • Interfaces directly with customer and/or DCMA personnel
    • Provides work direction to lower level QA personnel, PQS's and inspectors



    • Proficient electrical or mechanical technology
    • ESD control
    • Workmanship standards
    • Drawing interpretation
    • Proficient knowledge of standards I.E. ISO 9001:2000, CMMI, ISO 14001, ASME, ANSI, EIA, etc.
    • Proficient understanding of contractual quality requirements and flow down
    • Program contractual requirements and flow down to suppliers/sub-contractors
    • Configuration management and change management procedures
    • Proficient engineering practices to enhance quality
    • Proficient understanding of organizational and business policies and procedures, processes and government regulations
    • Skill in using PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel)
    • Skill in use of basic inspection/measurement tools
    • Proficient knowledge and understanding of documentation, processing and production paperwork
