  • Basic Qualifications

    Associate’s degree in related discipline or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

     

    Clearance Requirements

    Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is REQUIRED at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Windows Integrator. The position provides an opportunity to develop and advance the cutting-edge technology that supports our nation’s fundamental defense services. Employees work closely with the government to develop solutions that allow them to carry out submarine missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to deliver end-to-end solutions in mission systems integration, development, and operations support to fleets and the organization.

     

    Job Summary
    The Windows Integrator will work in a virtual environment using two separate VMs.  Development is done on a standalone system then integrated into the TCS tactical system.  A working knowledge of Linux and Shell scripting (i.e. bash, VBS) is very helpful in order to troubleshoot and modify scripts.

     

    Required Skills

    • Active Secret Clearance
    • Strong Windows troubleshooting skills
    • Ability to install, upgrade and troubleshoot Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, XP, 7, and 10
    • Ability to create and troubleshoot Windows scripts
    • Ability to setup and troubleshoot Windows network shares
    • Ability to configure Windows in a virtual environment (VMware, virtualbox, KVM, etc.)
    • Ability to manage users in Windows
    • Ability to configure Windows network settings
    • Ability to modify Windows registry settings
    • Ability to install various standard Windows and non-Windows products
    • Ability to set policies in the Windows environment
    • Ability to work in dynamic environments

     

    These Skills are a Plus                                

    • Experience with Voyage Management System (VMS)
    • Beginner’s Linux experience
    • Linux shell scripting experience (i.e. bash)
    • Windows Certification
