Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
Advanced Software Configuration Management Specialists are responsible for maintaining configuration management tools and supporting configuration identification, control, reporting, release and delivery of products and systems. This includes but is not limited to, evaluating Configuration Management Plans, identifying configuration identification of items (CIs), control of CIs, change control, reporting and status accounting, and release and delivery of such products and systems. This employee will perform configuration management and release engineering tasks to ensure new product operating parameters are documented, comply with standards and are logistically sustainable. The development of internal configuration standards and training others to use configuration management tools is required.
