Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience to meet managerial expectations.
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an essential and growing organization (Nuclear Weapons Security) that is critical to the security of the United States. General Dynamics Mission Systems program managers and employees work closely with our government customers to develop solutions that carry out high-consequence/high-assurance national security missions.
The successful candidate will lead planning and execution of the core Nuclear Weapons Security (NWS) program, including maintenance, design, development, and installation. As the Senior Program Manager, the candidate will be the primary customer interface with government section heads for sustainment and acquisition, and will help to oversee the interface between government Design and Development Team (DDT) leads and GDMS Program Managers. The Senior PM will enhance his/her skill set by working collaboratively with a talented and technically accomplished group of colleagues across matrix functions such as engineering, quality, contracts, and finance.
