  • Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.



    A Department of Defense security clearance may be required. Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.


    Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Senior Integration and Test Engineer.  This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.



    Integration and Test Engineers participate in programs to research, design, develop, integrate and test new systems prior to production and deployment.

    • Hardware Design Verification and Environmental Qualification to military standards
    • Define testing processes and tools
    • Derive and Manage Requirements
    • Develop test plans, procedures and reports
    • Write test scripts
    • Develop emulation methodologies
    • Investigate and resolve problem reports
    • Present information to customers in a formal setting



    • Knowledge of digital electronics and experience with digital electronics design principles and techniques including experience working with lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, Analyzers, etc.)
    • Good written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
    • Microsoft Office tools
    • Low level software languages
    • Scripting languages
    • Ability to produce effective, clear, and concise technical documentation 
    • Strong experience testing to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, and/or RTCA-DO-160



    • Proficient in DOORs, Visio and Matlab
    • Proficient in C, or C++
    • Knowledgeable of the engineering development process
    • Ideal candidate has experience working in a military contractor environment
    • Domain experience with aircraft avionics or aircraft stores management
