The IT Workspace Support Technician performs a variety of duties in support of computer workstation devices. They respond to and diagnose problems and answers queries regarding computer hardware, software, network and telecommunications systems. Workspace Support Technicians maintain and update Remedy tickets and asset management records. They install computer hardware and peripheral components, such as monitors, keyboards, printers and disk drives. Workspace Support Technicians also install and verify correct operation of software packages, such as operating system and desktop applications. They also provide training and technical assistance to users.
