Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. Applicants with a Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years directly related experience are also eligible.

We are looking for someone who has strong technical skills and proven leadership experience to work with and build upon our capable Marine Operations team and manage the direction of our AUV offshore operations. The Marine Operations Technical Manager is responsible for the marine operations function and associated staff at AUS. Working with the technical managers from Software, Mechanical, Electrical, and Systems Engineering, and other functions in the company, the Marine Operations Technical Manager provides leadership for the definition, deployment and execution of the all offshore operations, processes, and activities at AUS. The Marine Operations Technical Manager is responsible for managing the marine operations team both day-to-day and strategically, staffing projects and proposals, and participating in business development activities including bid and proposal preparation and generation of cost estimates.
The Marine Operations Technical Manager will interface with Program Management, Business Development, Marketing, Customer Service, and the customer as well as provide technical guidance for individual programs and tasks.
