GPSS is seeking a Strategic and Business Development Manager to lead a strong and diverse team supporting exploration and business development within the Assured Positioning, Navigation and Timing (A-PNT) domain. The candidate will use his/her expertise and understanding of the Department of Defense (predominately the US Army) organizational structure, processes for requirement development, budgeting, acquisition, and fielding; legacy systems and capabilities, current customer strategies for addressing capability gaps, and evolving customer acquisition strategies to define and execute business strategies, assess competitive landscape, and investment needed to bid and win opportunities in 2019 and beyond. The candidate will leverage our GPSS/GDMS Strategic Mission Systems core competencies in Assured PNT technologies and platform integration support to develop customer and industry relationships, win strategies, and capture plans in support of growth objectives for the PNT Products Line of Business (LoB). The candidate will be responsible for providing oversight to all proposal efforts, execution of new business and independent R&D funds. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities are compliant to contract and GDMS common process requirements, and performed and completed in a timely, cost-effective, and efficient manner without compromising the quality of the deliverables.
