Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
2+ years professional experience in systems engineering and product development
Agile Engineering is a plus
Able to identify and resolve technical issues in the cross functional environment
Able to meet program timelines, while also ensuring compliance with quality processes
Use of simulation software is a strong plus
Cross functional collaboration and Product Development
Customer focus with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Deep-dive analytical and problem solving skills

Candidates must be able and willing to obtain Department of Defense Secret security clearance within a reasonable amount of time after date of hire. An active Secret clearance is highly desired. Our tight knit product development team needs an expert in Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT) technology to help design, deliver and support first-to-market PNT solutions. This position is supporting our southeast Colorado Springs, Colorado location.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
Set up and maintain continuous build and automated testing environments
Support Windows and Linux computers
Maintain the engineering network infrastructure including virtual machines and cybersecurity
Admin and champion of DevOps tools – including Atlassian Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Jenkins, TestComplete, LabView, etc.
Drive continuous improvement for software and systems engineering practices
Assist with software testing tools and writing scripts for automation
