    Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience



    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Circuit Board Assembly Technician.  The position provides an opportunity to enhance the performance and profitability of an organization that supports some of our nation’s fundamental defense services.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.


    Operate surface mount and Thru hole mfg equipment (stencil printer, pick and place machine, reflow oven, Automated Optical Inspection machine, and selective solder machine)

    Follow established work instructions and procedures

    Hand solder as needed utilizing a stereo microscope

    Inspect boards to IPC-A-610 requirements

    Navigate the information systems to find BOM & drawings

    Participate in continuous improvement events & provide input as needed

    Follow ESD & 6S guidelines during daily tasks


    Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
    General knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
    Detail oriented
    Ability to multi-task and be flexible in tasks as situations change
    Ability to organize a variety of types of data and activities
    Ability to pick up new tasks quickly

    Demonstrate a sense of urgency

    Be able to stand for long periods of time

    Experience in Lead free soldering a plus
    Some experience with circuit board assembly equipment a plus
    Experience with IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 a plus
