  • Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or the equivalent is required plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 0 years of relevant experience.


    Required Skills:

    • Familiarity with Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) activity
    • Understanding of cyber threat indicators
    • Basic understanding of intrusion vectors and malware
    • Database management; entry and maintenance experience
      • Input technical data quickly and accurately
      • Create graphs, stats, and draw conclusions based on data entries
    • Perform cyber threat research
    • Use of any Intelligence Community (IC) repositories (M3, HOT-R, Pulse, LNI, Test Flight, etc.)
    • Experience using a workflow ticketing system
    • Very strong attention to detail
    • Good written and verbal communication skills

    Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Junior Cyber Intelligence Analyst.  This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems.  General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions.


    The successful candidate will support Defense Industrial Base Partners and government partners that are responsible for computer network defense. Data manager and researcher of threat indicators used to produce reports focused on APT activity an intrusion set TTPs.  Products are based on partner incident reporting, malware reverse engineering reports, and open source research.


    Desired Skills:

    • College degree in a related field
    • Certifications (any) CISSP, CEH, GCIH, Network+, Security+, A+, CCNA
    • Use of cyber analysis tools such as VirusTotal, PassiveTotal, Maltego, Splunk, etc.

    Suggested Qualifications: 5 years’ of professional experience without a degree; or 3 years’ of professional experience with a Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Masters degree; or no experience required with a related PhD or JD. Consideration should always be given for the level of specific domain expertise.
