  • Basic Qualifications

    Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.


    Required Qualifications

    • Department of Defense SECRET security clearance (minimum)
    • CISSP certification


    Candidates must have an Active Secret security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.


    Responsibilities for this Position

    General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Information Assurance Engineer in our Scottsdale, AZ location.  This position provides an opportunity to further advance the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation’s core defense/intelligence services and systems.  


    Preferred Experience

    • System Security Engineering experience
    • Risk Management framework (RMF) System Level Certification and Accreditation experience
    • Working knowledge of Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&Ms), and Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs)
    • Understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe 4.0 or 4.5) process and best practices with SecDevOps
    • Working knowledge of Vulnerability Analysis/remediation/management: IAVA and STIG application/analysis
    • Key Management experience
    • Experience hardening Windows and Linux servers and workstations
    • Perimeter security: Intrusion detection, firewall
