We are ready to hire a Cleared Software/Firmware Lead Engineer to join our Air and Missile Defense (AMDR) program working to develop and deploy the next generation AN/SPY-6(V) radar for the U.S. Navy. What you’ll be doing:
You’ll be working with the technical lead and a software/firmware team of developers within a Windows and Linux environment to manage, grow and evolve software solutions. You will be using your engineering leadership skills to perform technical planning and execution and tracking of work scope to include system impact, project schedule, and cost. Throughout the lifecycle of the program you will help lead the team in design modifications, development, integration and test of software and FPGA firmware. In addition, we will rely on strong expertise and leadership in helping to shape future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems. You will have the opportunity to mentor and help others learn and develop the software/firmware.
What you need to bring to the table:
RF systems and Radar engineering experience
C/C++ software development in a Linux environment
Software and firmware design and development
Experience and Skills that will set you apart:
Eight or more years of software development experience on a medium or large DoD program
Leadership and technical management skills over a medium or large team of Software Engineers
