Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience).

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire but is required within a reasonable period of time as determined by the program. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Utilizing your strong knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements, you’ll assist in defining, reviewing and analyzing system requirements for enhancements/modifications for supportability by providing input to project/program plans and deliverables. Additionally, the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialist will assist in the review, development and modification of procedures and products for one or more ILS functions. Duties and Tasks:

• Assists in project/program tasks related to specific ILS elements
• Provides ILS input to project/program plans and deliverables
• Assists in defining, reviewing and analyzing system requirements for enhancements/modifications for supportability
• Supports internal audits and/reviews for corrective action plans
• Supports other disciplines for program/project resolutions/enhancements
• Supports materials and storeroom management
• Assists in the development of project/program plans and deliverables
• Performs duties and responsibilities of member or functional expert on process improvement teams and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
• Assists in the development of supplier requirements and Statements of Work
• Independently create sections of ILS deliverables
• Contract Management
• Receives moderate instruction from an ILS Manager
• ILS Generalist - entry level professional with some experience
• Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life
• May be required to travel
• Works on problems of limited scope

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Working knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements (supply support; maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; technical manuals; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation (PHS&T); design interface;  reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A), how they interact and how they are applied across a program, their effect on a system, plus how a systems’ design and changes affect the ILS elements
• Experience in one or more of the ILS elements
• Working knowledge of military/commercial requirements/ specifications
• Working knowledge of internal/external procedures and policies
• Conflict management skills
• Working knowledge of the acquisition logistics process
• Ability to coordinate with other disciplines for program/project resolutions/enhancements
• Working knowledge of various ILS software applications
• Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
• Works on problems of limited scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors

NOTE: This position is ON-SITE in Pittsfield, MA...a hybrid work schedule may be available but will require a minimum of 3 day's per week on-site.
