Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required (or equivalent experience).

 

Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.  It is required within a reasonable period of time as determined by the program. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Utilizing your knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements, you’ll assist in defining, reviewing and analyzing system requirements for enhancements/modifications for supportability by providing input to project/program plans and deliverables. The Integrated Loistics Support (ILS) Specialist will assist in the review, development and modification of procedures and products for one or more ILS functions. It’s your chance to put your talent to the ultimate test. 

 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Assisting in project/program tasks related to specific ILS elements
  • Providing ILS input to project/program plans and deliverables
  • Supporting internal audits and/reviews for corrective action plans
  • Supporting other disciplines for program/project resolutions/enhancements
  • Supporting materials and storeroom management
  • Performing duties and responsibilities of member or functional expert on process improvement teams and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Assisting in the development of supplier requirements and Statements of Work
  • Independently creating sections of ILS deliverables
  • Contract Management
  • Receiving moderate instruction from ILS Manager
  • Entry Level ILS Generalist - professional with some experience
  • Designing, developing and managing activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life
  • May be required to travel
  • Works on problems of limited scope


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Elements (supply support; maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; technical manuals; training and training equipment; support equipment; facilities; computer resources support; packaging, handling, storage and transportation (PHS&T); design interface;  reliability, maintainability and availability (RM&A), how they interact and are applied across a program, their effect on a system, plus how a systems’ design and changes affect the ILS elements
  • Experience in one or more of the ILS elements
  • Working knowledge of military/commercial requirements/ specifications
  • Applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues (includes internal/external)
  • Conflict management skills
  • Working knowledge of various ILS software applications
  • Works on problems of limited scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors

 

This position is onsite in Pittsfield, Massachusetts

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $59,164.00 - USD $64,017.25 /Yr.
