Windows System Administrator

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in a specialized area or equivalent relevant experience is required; plus, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or • Master's degree, plus 3 years of relevant experience.

Clearance Requirements:

This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within a reasonable amount of time after hire, with acceptable timing determined by manager. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As the Windows Systems Administrator, your primary responsiblity will be Windows OS administration of a small domain of . You’ll also manage cross domain enterprise level solutions, provide on-site technical solutions, create technical reports and metrics.

What sets you apart:  

• Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 and newer servers.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) servers.
• Disciplined handling of regular Windows patching utilizing automation like WSUS and MECM
• Experienced with managing Microsoft Active Directory and strong knowldge on GPO modifications.
• Hands-on experience upgrading to Windows Server 2016, 2019, or newer
• Apply Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and mitigation of vulnerabilities as directed by IA based on scan findings and applicable DoD direction
• Willing to become knowledgable and support the PitBull (Linux) enterprise system and the interoperations with the Windows infrastructure
• Current and active TS/SCI Clearance
