Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As an electrical engineer in the Progeny Systems EW business area, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing solutions for our US Navy customer on various programs/applications/projects deemed necessary to further EW excellance within the US Navy's submarine fleet.

Candidates should have some familiarity with analog and digital systems – useful coursework may include Signals and Systems, Filter Design, Digital Signal Processing and Communications Systems and experience with standard laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectral analyzers. Experience with MATLAB, software programming such as C/C++/Java and VHDL are a plus. Candidates should be self-motivated with technical direction but also know when to ask questions. Progeny’s EW systems employ a broad range of technologies across ADCs, DACs, RF components, FPGAs, high speed networking, GPUs, high-end servers, databases, cybersecurity and user interfaces. Candidates within the group will be exposed to all facets of these systems and work with technical experts across the team in each. Many programs execute from concept through lifecycle/field support and work consists of theory, hands on practice, and test and support.
