Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

We are looking for engineers interested in power amplifier or power supply systems as well as sensor and systems that support the SONAR capabilities onboard all current and future U.S. Navy submarine classes.    

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Electrical Engineer (Sr Electrical Eng), you’ll participate in electrical requirements analysis, functional analysis and performance analysis (e.g. timing, power, etc.) for the design, integration and verification of electrical components, equipment and systems. You’ll make an impact throughout the electrical development life cycle by supporting our technical engineering products with your sound knowledge of electrical engineering concepts and principles.

  • Design, simulate and implement analog and digital circuits, cables, and interconnects
  • Perform component and architecture trade studies to determine optimal system solutions
  • Generate design and interface documentation
  • Integrate, test, troubleshoot, and verify hardware
  • Assist with the development of hardware and firmware for embedded systems
  • Document and present trade studies, analyses, test results, and status to the team

  • Proficient in analog and digital circuit design principles, and linear systems and signals
  • Experience with schematic design, simulation, and component selection
  • Proficient with common lab equipment such as o-scopes, multi-meters, power supplies, and soldering
  • Ability to rapidly troubleshoot electronic system technical issues found in system integration labs, field environments and during production
  • Experience with software and firmware design
  • Ability to steadily develop knowledge/expertise across the various tactical baselines and platforms
  • Clear communication skills to interact effectively with work groups, project leaders and program managers

Workplace Options:

This position is fully on-site, OR Hybrid/Flex possible occasionally. While on-site, you will be a part of the Manassas, VA location.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $100,000.00 - USD $107,500.00 /Yr.
