Basic Qualifications

 

 

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. 

Responsibilities for this Position

 

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:


As a DSP EE/SW engineer, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team.

 

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences as a DSP EE/SW engineer:

  1. Roles and Responsibilities:
    1. Write LabView code to implement customized communication solutions including but not limited to:
      1. Modulators and Demodulators
      2. Scramblers and Descramblers
      3. Forward Error Correction (FEC) Encoders and Decoders
      4. Symbol Mappers and De-Mappers
      5. Layer 2 and higher protocols
      6. LabView GUIs
    2. Document LabView designs in tools such as PowerPoint or Visio
    3. Analyze recorded signals to aid in LabView recreation including but not limited to:
      1. TDMA
      2. FDMA
      3. CDMA
    4. Perform unit testing of LabView components and support system-level testing of LabView based solutions
    5. Research new custom signal implementations
    6. Regularly attend customer technical working groups to respond to emerging needs
    7. Write user manuals for LabView based solutions
    8. Contribute to training customers to use LabView based solutions
    9. Support customers using developed products, potentially travelling to customer sites as field support

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $182,756.00 - USD $202,745.00 /Yr.
