A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Administration of Justice, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement or related field or the equivalent experience is required. In addition, a minimum of 12 years of security experience in industrial security and/or government, including investigative experience, is required. A minimum of 3 years of managerial experience is required.
A minimum of 15 years of experience and/or General Dynamics experience is preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required at time of hire with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
Establishes a risk-based security strategy and implements the security program operations for the protection of company and government assets to include personnel, information and property.
Responsible for the contractual security requirement compliance within the National Industrial Security Program and other related federal regulations to include but not limited to personnel security, visitor control, information security, information assurance, security awareness, internal auditing and physical security.
Primary organization for Cognizant Security Agency interaction.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the international security program for deployed personnel and travel to high-risk countries.
Responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery program.
Establishes and implement the security organization policies, procedures and related processes.
Oversees the administrative management of the security organization.
Conducts internal investigations in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Implements a compliance and risk-based security program for business execution and efficiency.
Prepares and administers department budget and controls financial performance to meet organizational and company financial goals.
Provides direction to security directors and senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations.
Recognized as an influential leader.
