LCS Waterfront Systems Engineer

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a systems engineer for the Littoral Combat Ship, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for completing AIT installations onboard US Navy ships along with supporting sustainment activities onboard US Navy ships. 

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: TSCE knowledge, VMware knowledge, Fiber Termination skills, copper connector skills, Navigation knowledge, network knowledge (Cisco switches) and ECS (engineering control system) knowledge.  Anticipate travel could be up to 50% at times based on location of the US Navy Ships.

Workplace Options:
This position is fully on-site with most of your time being spent onboard a US Navy Ship.
While on-site, you will be a part of the National City, CA location.
