Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

 

As a Systems Engineer, you will be part of a team that develops and maintains the requirements for the evolving Missile Defense Systems (MDS). You will play a crucial role in mission analysis, system modeling, and supporting various engineering tasks. Your work will ensure the functionality and security of our advanced defense systems. A Secret clearance is required to start, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret (TS) Clearance with SCI eligibility.

  • Developing and maintaining system requirements and baselines
  • Performing mission analysis and creating use cases and sequence diagrams
  • Supporting Agile methods and defining Epics and Features
  • Generating functional, performance, and interface specifications
  • Collaborating with a diverse team to communicate system capabilities and requirements
  • Experience reviewing technical products and acting as a technical interface
  • Skills in developing and reviewing system engineering artifacts

 

What sets you apart:  

  • Advanced degree with 7+ years or bachelor's with 9+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in mission analysis, use case development, and SysML modeling
  • Familiarity with Agile methods and cybersecurity concepts
  • Skills in logical architecture modeling and interface definition
  • Experience in requirements elicitation, derivation, and decomposition
  • IAT Level II

Workplace Options:

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $139,189.00 - USD $154,412.00 /Yr.
