Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a mechanical engineer for Maritime & Strategic Systems (MSS), you’ll member of a cross functional team responsible for MSS mechanical packaging and documentation.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Assist and perform design and development in such areas as mechanical, thermal, hydraulic, thermodynamic, or heat transfer for production, transmission, measurement, and use of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines and/or machines.

Providing design information for detailing packaging documentation
Collaborating with project leaders and other professionals within the Engineering department

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
