Deputy Program Manager of Engineering

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a Deputy Program Manager - Engineering (DPME) for the Strategic Weapon Control Program in the Strategic Systems Business you’ll lead a highly skilled cross functional team responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of next generation fleet ballistic missile control and auxilliary systems. You’ll ensure the Strategic Weapon System, which includes Navigation, Missile (Guidance, Reentry, etc.), Fire Control, Launcher, Instrumentation, and all other subsystems meets all new requirements, building off the current architecture to build and field the system through operational test and deployment.

• Strong background in the Fire Control Domain
• Strategic Weapon Control Program experience - strategic nuclear ballistic guidance and weapon control systems
• Navy program experience
• Experience leading teams of 10-20 engineers through large scale system design and implementation
• Managing engineering resources (e.g. staff assignments, capital equipment, etc.), organizational interfaces, and engineering scope
