Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.  Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms for undersea sensor applications.
  • Implement and optimize software solutions for signal processing tasks.
  • Design and implement signal processing algorithms in Matlab
  • Collaborate with team members to test and validate DSP algorithms to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to signal processing systems.
  • Optimize software performance for large-scale datasets and real-time processing
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure that code meets high-quality standards
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in signal processing technologies and apply them to enhance our solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, and MATLAB
  • Experience with signal processing algorithms, such as filtering, Fourier transforms, beamforming, resampling and signal detection
  • Familiarity with signal processing tools and libraries, such as Matlab Signal Processing Toolbox and Intel IPP
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of and experience using Linux

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with undersea sensor applications or real-time DSP applications is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience using Hashicorp Consul
  • Knowledge of and experience working in virtualized environments such as VMWare, VirtualBox, Podman & Docker
  • Knowledge of and experience using common development tools (Git, Gitlab, JIRA, Confluence, etc)
  • Familiarity with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques as applied to signal processing.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $88,651.00 - USD $98,348.00 /Yr.
