Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Utilizing exceptional communication and organization skills, the Senior Advanced Manufacturing Planning Associate will represent the production and material planning function of a medium size program. Essentially, you’ll conduct an in-depth analysis of material inventories and requirements for assigned program(s) and monitor procurement activity to communicate status with management. You’ll also incorporate engineering changes into the bill of material utilizing the material planning tool and respond to data requests to include program queries and internal/government audits, with properly documented responses.

What you bring to the table:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Good knowledge of MRP/ERP principles
  • Good knowledge of the procurement process
  • Good knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows applications

What sets you apart:

  • Knowledgeable in the usage and tracking of government/customer furnished material
  • Ability to gather and analyze material cost and schedule metrics in support of program area
  • Ability to utilize influence management when communicating with other functional departments

Responsiblities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Strong understanding of IFS
  • Strong understanding of GDMS business policies and procedures
  • Monitors inventory levels and manages stock to avoid shortages or excess in the factory. Creates requisitions & Shop Orders
  • Monitors purchase orders and tracks their progress based on demand loaded
  • Analyzes material usage and works with MP Specialist to optimize inventory levels
  • Resolves material-related issues and discrepancies on the factory floor
  • Prepares and updates material planning reports and metrics to support the Factory Manager and MP Specialist
  • Determine, Monthly/Weekly/Daily production plan
  • Acquire common materials, boxes, chemicals, any as required material
  • Ensure plan is executable with available capacity and material
  • Ensure part shortages are addressed to meet plan
  • Set priorities to meet plan or schedule requests
  • Communicate commitments and possible opportunities (when things can fit into schedule)

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $28.07 - USD $30.10 /Hr.
