Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

 

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

 

As a Systems Engineer, work with the cross functional Interoperability Testing and Systems Engineering (ITSE) team responsible for developing systems and cryptographic specifications and testing mission critical Department of Defense  Cybersecurity devices. Responsibilities will include designing security architectures and protocols, developing key management strategies, working with network equipment in the Interoperability Test Bed (ITB), and testing voice, data. and conferencing security devices. You'll be working at the cutting edge of Cybersecurity.

  • Extensive knowledge of network protocols
  • Extensive knowledge of cryptographic algorithms
  • Extensive knowledge of voice, data, and conferencing applications
  • Experience performing Requirements Analysis
  • Experience working with Voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) Networks
  • Experience working with Internet Protocol (IP) Security
  • Experience working with IP Routing
  • Experience writing Test Plans and Procedures
  • CISSP certification (or similar)

 

Nice to have:

  • CCNA Certification
  • Experience with various Network Equipment including an Avaya switch, SIP Call Managers, Cisco routers, V.150 Gateways, and Protocol Analyzers
  • Experience in performing "black box" testing of encryption devices
  • Experience in writing memoranda, white papers, and specification material on technical concepts
  • Experience in creating slides and presenting technical material to various audiences

Workplace Options:

This position is fully on-site in Dedham, Massachusetts. While on-site, you will be a part of the Dedham Cyber Engineering team.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $133,499.00 - USD $141,000.00 /Yr.
