CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:  Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

It’s an exceptional challenge and for a true leader, it’s an equally exceptional opportunity. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advanced Test Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting troubleshooting down to the circuit card assembly component level, addressing current product test issues, and supporting new product introduction. This role also involves the development and implementation of comprehensive test plans, as well as working with the product design team to ensure a smooth transition for new products into production. A Secret Clearance is required for this position.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed troubleshooting and diagnostics on circuit card assemblies to identify and resolve component-level issues.
  • Provide support for legacy test issues, ensuring the continued functionality and reliability of existing products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the testing of new products, ensuring they meet all specifications and requirements.
  • Develop, document, and implement detailed test plans and procedures.
  • Utilize test equipment and software to conduct thorough and accurate testing.
  • Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of testing activities and results.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Work with the product design team to ensure a smooth transition for new products into production.
  • Mentor and support peers.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Expert knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages
  • Openly contributes to the development of new theories and methods to enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions
  • Ability and willingness to help anticipate and shape business opportunities
  • Outstanding communication skills for frequent contact with managers, project teams across the company and external customers and vendors

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $143,076.00 - USD $158,725.00 /Yr.
