Basic Qualifications

Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

 

Position: Senior Advanced Technical Training Specialist
Function: Customer Technical Training
Security Clearance: Secret or higher required
Travel Requirements: FREQUENT - 50% or more


Overview:

As a Senior Advanced Technical Training Specialist, you will deliver technical product training programs to military audiences. Your expertise will ensure that training is accurate, engaging, and tailored to meet the needs of our customer audience, addressing any learning challenges along the way.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct technical, task-based product training to military customers and government employees at military installations.
  • Instruct customer and user personnel in both classroom and hands-on settings.
  • Validate technical training courses and materials.
  • Prepare lesson plans and provide feedback to training manager.
  • Regularly update course documentation to ensure relevance and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure training content reflects current product features.
  • Interact with customers to adhere to course specifications and maintain budgets and schedules.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and instructor performance, providing development recommendations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and independently manage training course completion.
  • Lead training events and provide tasking to other instructors.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently. Travel can range from 50% to 80%.
  • Expertise in facilitating technical, task-based training courses to adult audiences.
  • Professional, customer-focused demeanor.
  • Proficiency in installing and maintaining hardware and software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address learning issues effectively.
  • Expertise in using software applications like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of training processes, including design, development, production, and documentation/control.
  • Strong internal and external relationship-building skills.
  • Understanding and application of company policies and procedures to resolve issues.
  • Ability to interact independently with senior military personnel or government representatives to analyze complex technical information and convert it into usable instructions.

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $110,364.00 - USD $119,417.00 /Yr.
