CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Utilizing your creativity, innovative engineering skills, and technical experiences, you'll participate in multi-disciplinary teams supporting design, materials, equipment setup, and maintenance. You will also provide technical expertise to customers, users, or company personnel at domestic or international field sites in support of the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) team. With a focus on reliability engineering, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reliability Analysis: Perform detailed reliability analyses, including Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD), and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to identify potential failure modes and their impacts.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze field data, test data, and other reliability data to identify trends, root causes of failures, and areas for improvement.
  • Design for Reliability (DfR): Collaborate with design engineering teams to incorporate reliability principles into product design and development processes, ensuring that reliability is a key consideration from the outset.
  • Predictive Maintenance: Implement predictive maintenance strategies and tools to monitor the health of systems and components, enabling proactive maintenance and reducing downtime.
  • Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reliability reports, documentation, and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product reliability, reducing warranty costs, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including systems, manufacturing, quality assurance, and our customers, to ensure reliability goals are met throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to reliability engineering.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s of Science or Technology degree in Engineering, a related field or equivalent
  • Technical competence in the setup, monitoring and documentation of experiments and/or lab equipment

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $72,913.00 - USD $78,894.00 /Yr.
