Candidates should demonstrate a thorough understanding of network operations principles. Network Operations Interns must be enrolled in an accredited degree program with a preference in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Network Engineering.
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Network Operations interns support the GD Mission Systems enterprise network by monitoring, troubleshooting, and fulfilling support requests. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on SDWAN, LAN, and/or WLAN technologies, and will have exposure to enabling technologies such as network access controls and network monitoring tools.
