SWC CIPT System Engineer - COTs/NDI Lead

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. As a SWC CIPT System Engineer - COTs/NDI Lead (Sr Systems Eng) for SWC Fire Control, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for development of Strategic Weapons Systems Capabilities under the nuclear triad. We strive to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions that meet the rigorous demands of modern warfare and ensure the safety and success of our missions.

Working in this capacity you will:

• Lead the integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Non-Developmental Items (NDI) in our fire control systems with a continuous development mindset.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate and iterate on COTS/NDI solutions.
• Oversee testing and validation to ensure systems meet evolving program requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Enhance engineering processes and standards with a focus on agility, innovation, and robust software processes.

• Strong background in systems engineering with a focus on integrating COTS/NDI products.
• In-depth understanding of software development processes to ensure successful integration and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
