CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated professional to join our team as the SLCM-N Configuration and Data Management Lead. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing the configuration and data management processes for the SLCM-N program. You will ensure that all deliverables are accurately tracked, managed, and controlled throughout the program lifecycle, adhering to industry standards and company policies.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s of Science or Technology degree, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of configuration management principles, standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with configuration management tools and software.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to configuration and data management.

What sets you apart:

  • Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., CMII, CMIIC, or equivalent).
  • Experience in a defense or aerospace environment, specifically with missile systems.

As the Sea-Launched Cruise Missile-Nuclear (SLCM-N) Configuration Management Lead, you will:

 

  • Lead the configuration and data management activities.
  • Develop and implement configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure proper version control and configuration status accounting for all program-related models, software, and documentation items.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage the integration, verification, and delivery of program deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain configuration baselines and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to configuration management policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the release and distribution process for program deliverables.
  • Manage the change control process, including the evaluation, coordination, and implementation of changes.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on configuration and data management practices.
  • Generate and maintain configuration management reports and metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve configuration and data management issues.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the program team.

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $103,917.00 - USD $112,442.00 /Yr.
