Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Our Space, Cyber & Intelligence Line of Business specializes in keeping the data and networks of the USG secure from cyber foreign threats, at home and abroad. We provide market leading capabilities in space avionics, spaceborne encryption, in-line network encryption, data-at-rest-encryption, link encryption, cross-domain solutions, multilevel security, and special capabilities for the Intelligence Community. Our capabilities power the warfighter in every domain of operation – Space, Air, Land, and Sea. 

Utilizing your extensive
knowledge of space systems development and production, government contracting and acquisition practices, and evolving needs of the USG, the Director of Strategy helps chart the path forward for products and/or services to government agencies. We’ll rely on you as an expert on the state of the current and future space enterprise, providing direction in how we shape our portfolio, what investment should be made to solve customer tough problems, and evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances. You’ll monitor competitive activity, and identify customer needs, as well as define and review vision, strategies, and tactics for business development opportunities across our portfolio. Additionally, based upon your experience leading others to accomplish organizational goals, we’ll rely on you to help mentor, coach, and develop the more junior staff on our teams.

What you bring to the table:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus a minimum of 15 years of demonstrated leadership; or Master's degree plus a minimum
of 13 years of demonstrated leadership; or military equivalency
- Deep understanding of the current classified USG space capabilities and future missions
- Knowledge of current state-of-the art in space capabilities including available offerings from prime vendors and current programs
- Must be familiar with the strategic plans and budgets of the USG space enterprise to justify high priority technological programs
- Ability to formulate near and long-term business strategies, identify and shape required capabilities, and align everything to justify R&D and business investments
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategies to establish capabilities in the government sector
- Familiarity with Congressional oversight of DoD and Intelligence Community investments and programs; work through our government relations to develop messaging and outreach plans for congressional committees to justify in
vestment requests
- Strong people skills and contacts to include customer engagements, capability discussions, and articulating technology to mission value
- Strong writing skills to include aligning technical capabilities to mission value which can be inserted in proposal and offerings to the government
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor junior personnel into leadership positions, and shape culture within a workforce

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $245,096.00 - USD $265,201.00 /Yr.
