Mill & Lathe Machinist
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the manufacture of tight tolerance, complex geometry precision products, particularly within an aerospace or medical component machine shop
- Ability to work from blueprints, advanced drawings, process sheets and sketches to perform machining operations with precision, quality, and safety
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a quick, effective manner
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machine attachments
- Load programs into CNC machines and make necessary code edits
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and GD&T
- Understand tolerances, material specs, and critical dimensions
- Modify existing CNC programs using G-Code
- Recommend tooling and programming improvements to increase efficiency and reduce scrap
- Follow all safety procedures and use PPE
- Work with engineers, quality inspectors, and supervisors to solve machining issues
- Communicate effectively during shift handovers and team meetings
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
EDM Machinist
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in CNC programming and CAM software
- Strong understanding of GD&T
- Ability to use precision measurement equipment including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gauges, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to zero-defect quality standards
Key Respsonsibilities:
- Set up and operate wire EDM and sinker/ram EDM machines
- Experience in the manufacture of tight tolerance, complex geometry precision products, particularly within an aerospace or medical component machine shop
- Ability to work from blueprints, advanced drawings, process sheets, sketches and GD&T callouts to perform machining operations with precision, quality, and safety
- Program EDM machines using CAM software
- Select and prepare electrodes to required specifications
- Monitor and maintain dielectric fluid systems for optimal machine performance
- Maintain accurate documentation and traceability records per AS9100 requirements
- Identify and troubleshoot machine faults, burn quality issues, and process deviations
- Follow all FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention and safety protocols
Cutter Grind Machinist
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cutting and grinding processes
- Familiarity with manual and/or CNC grinders
- Knowledge of machine shop processes, tools, and terminology; ability to work from blueprints, advanced drawings, process sheets and sketches
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a quick, effective manner
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate cutter grinding machines, including universal tool and cutter grinders
- Sharpen, recondition, and inspect end mills, drills, reamers, taps, and other cutting tools
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Measure and inspect tools using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, gauges, optical comparators)
- Maintain accurate records of tool reconditioning and inventory
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues
- Follow all safety protocols and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) prevention procedures
Diamond Turn Lathe Machinist
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the manufacture of tight tolerance, complex geometry precision products, particularly within an aerospace or medical component machine shop
- Ability to work from blueprints, advanced drawings, process sheets and sketches to perform machining operations with precision, quality, and safety
- Analytical and problem-solving skills; able to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a quick, effective manner
- Experience operating a Diamond Turn Lathe machine
PMC Machinist
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to read and follow instructions including Engineering and CAD drawings

Key Responsibiliites:
- Form and shape advanced material
- Work from advanced drawings, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions
- Measures, makes, and scribes dimensions and reference points on material or work piece as guides for subsequent machining
- Selects, aligns, and secures holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines such as mills, lathes, jig borers and grinders
- Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut, or enters commands to retrieve, input or edit computerized machine control media
- Starts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjusts machine controls or control media as required
- Performs maintenance on machines as required
- Verifies, by initials, conformance of finished work piece to specifications
- Sets up and operates machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data
- Fits and assembles parts into complete assembly
- Draws sketches of tooling for part to be fabricated
- Check’s work using prescribed gauges, jigs, and fixtures to measure close tolerances
- Monitors and verifies quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures
- Maintains traceability of material by keeping lot items together or serialized
- Notifies Supervisor or Lead Person as instructed when order is completed for sign off
- May provide direction, and /or trains less experienced employees
- Interfaces with Engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining or assembly problems
- No instructions needed on routine work and general instruction given on new lines of work or special assignments
- Works under limited supervision
