Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Management or Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The ILS Inactivation Lead is responsible for being a leader within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) to plan, coordinate, and execute the systematic inactivation of fielded Fire Control systems, ensuring all logistics support elements are properly identified, documented, and returned or dispositioned in accordance with applicable contractual and program requirements. This includes the oversight and closeout of ILS elements such as:
The Inactivation Lead plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate identification and disposition of excess materials and equipment, while simultaneously safeguarding the long-term supportability and readiness of systems that will remain fielded. This requires a balanced, deliberate approach to inactivation that protects both program obligations and the warfighter's continued operational capability.
