Responsibilities for this Position

Providing security engineering, systems integration, and technical support services to customers, you’ll develop and implement security controls, defenses, and countermeasures to prevent internal and external attacks against enterprise systems, networks, applications, email, and data.

 

You will deploy, configure, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize cybersecurity products that help defend the enterprise against malicious actors. These solutions may include firewalls, endpoint detection and response, intrusion detection and prevention, security information and event management, vulnerability management, email security, data loss prevention, encryption, and identity and access management technologies.

 

You will also install, configure, maintain, and support network infrastructure, servers, workstations, operating systems, and related hardware and software. In addition, you willl administer security policies that control physical and virtual access to systems while helping ensure the confidentiality, integrity, availability, reliability, and performance of enterprise computing environments.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related specialized area or equivalent, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to develop, test, debug, and administer Enterprise products that support security protocols for established systems
  • Ability to apply current computer science technologies to the design, development, evaluation, integration, and support of secure computer systems and networks
  • Experience deploying, configuring, integrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise cybersecurity products
  • Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting network devices, servers, workstations, operating systems, and related hardware and software
  • Ability to analyze security alerts, diagnose technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions
  • Very strong knowledge of:
    • Disaster recovery and continuity-of-operations planning
    • Security incident response and handling methodologies
    • Current cyber threats, attack techniques, security controls, and defensive technologies
    • Cybersecurity product lifecycle management and operational support
    • Resource management principles and techniques
    • Server administration and systems engineering theories, concepts, and methods
    • System lifecycle management, including software security, maintenance, and usability
    • Information security program and project management principles and techniques
    • Network architecture, protocols, services, monitoring tools, and performance management
    • Endpoint, workstation, server, and network support practices
    • Security architecture concepts and enterprise architecture reference models
    • Applicable customer business processes and operations
    • System software and organizational design standards, policies, and authorized approaches

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $126,862.00 - USD $137,269.00 /Yr.
